The St. Mary girls’ soccer team (1-2) left Eddyville with a 4-0 win over the Lyon County Lady Lyons on Friday. The game was a varsity doubleheader with the schools’ boys teams. St. Mary’s boys (1-2) also shut out the Lyons, winning 2-0. Lyon County blanked the Vikings 7-0 last season and beat them in a preseason scrimmage a few weeks ago.
The Lady Lyons (0-3) begin All “A” Regional Tournament play August 22nd as do the Lyon County boys (1-1) when they face off against Fort Campbell.
