It was a tough district matchup Tuesday night for the Todd County Central Lady Rebels. The Lady Rebels dropped their 2nd match in as many nights, this time falling to Logan County in straight sets in a 13th District battle.

Logan County, who’s former coach Steve Lyne is now on the Todd Central coaching staff, got out of the gate fast and never looked back for the rest of the match. Logan County won the opening set 25-10.

The Lady Rebels put up more of a fight in the second set. Still, it was Logan County coming away with the 25-20 win to go up 2-0 in the match.

The Lady Cougars then closed out strong, winning the third set 25-11, and taking the match 3-0.

Lucy Chester led the way for the Lady Rebels with five kills in the match. Presley Conquest added three kills, three sets, and two digs. Freshman Addileigh Wofford had four assists, three sets, and two aces in the match.

Lady Rebels coach Stephanie Conquest thought her team made progress in the match, espesically in the second set, where they were able to come up with 20 points against the Lady Cougars.

The loss drops Todd County Central to 2-5 on the season. It also continues a long, long run by Logan County. Going back through the 2002 season, Logan County has won not just every match with Todd Central, but every set the two teams have played.
