Christian County finished in ninth place Saturday at the Hopkins County Central Golf Invitational played at the Madisonville Country Club.
Houston George led the Colonels with a round of 80, which tied him for 15th place. Micah Smith was one shot behind with an 81. Chase Dawson added a 95, and Josh Johnson shot a 98 for the Colonels, who totaled 354 points and finished three shots behind Owensboro Catholic.
Henry County’s Alex Hadden shot a 68 to take medalist honors, while Madisonville’s Jackson Hill was second with a round of 70.
