The Hopkinsville Tigers got the new season started off right with a 35-21 victory over Kenwood, TN on Friday night in Clarksville. Quarterback Jay Bland was sharp in his return from injury, connecting with Reece Jesse for two first-half touchdowns to put the Tigers in control.
