After helping the UHA basketball team to an All-A championship and an appearance in the 2nd-Region title-game last season, senior Ta’Quan Hollowell put pen to paper on Thursday to continue his career at Spalding University.
After his junior season, Hollowell earned All-8th District and All-2nd Region honors, before taking home All-District, All-Region Tournament and All-A State Tournament recognition while averaging 11.3 points and 5.2 rebounds a game for the Blazers during his senior season.
Spalding is located in Louisville, KY and competes at the NCAA Division III level in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles are coming off an 11-14 season, 10-8 in conference play.
After making his choice official, Hollowell talked about his commitment.
