The Hopkinsville duo of Jeremy Pruitt and Baylen Williams led the Hopkinsville High anglers at the KHSAA Region I Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Barkley.
They only caught three fish, but they weighed 9-pounds, 2-ounces including a big bass of 4-pounds, 1-ounce. That was good enough for 27th place out of 82 boats that brought fish to the stage.
Muhlenberg County’s Jackson Kulijof and Lane Tooley won the region title with 20-pounds, 1-ounce.
Other Hoptown teams were:
Lanie Brumfield and William Chaudoin – 63rd place (4-pounds, 2-ounces)
Cullen Lamb and Koby Batts – 81st place (1-pound, 5-ounces)
