Christian County slips a spot in the latest Kentucky Softball Coaches’ Poll but remains in the top five. The Lady Colonels are No. 4 in the latest poll, which was released before their Monday loss to No. 10 Butler. Male is No. 1, followed by Warren East and McCracken County.
Madisonville (No. 7), Henderson County (No. 19), and Webster County (No. 20) are three other Second Region schools with teams in the top 25.
Caldwell County (30 votes), Lyon County (13 votes), and Trigg County (10 votes) also received votes in the weekly poll. Coaches must be a member of the KSCA to cast a vote.
In addition to McCracken County, Marshall County (No. 16) is in the poll from the First Region.
Third Region teams ranked are Daviess County (No. 8), Owensboro Catholic (No. 23), and Apollo (No. 25).
One Fourth Region team ranked in addition to Warren East was South Warren (No. 12).
