Lyon County opened their track and field season Saturday at the Henderson County Colonel Classic.
BOYS
Justin Tabor – 9th in the 400-meters (57.5)
Jeremy Gonzalez – 4th in the 300-meter hurdles (46.40); 10th in the 110-meter hurdles (20.48)
Justin Crawford – 8th in the discus throw (84-11)
400-meter relay team was 10th (54.68)
1600-meter relay team was 8th (3:58.35)
GIRLS
Makala Smurawa – 13th in the 100-meter hurdles (28.89)
Mia Jewell – 15th in the 300-meter hurdles (1:17.28)
Lyon County’s boys finished 12th with eight total points.
