After owning a share of the lead for part of the first round, Emma Talley went on to finish 42nd at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore over the weekend.
After firing a 2-under-par 70 in the first round of the event on Thursday, Talley shot rounds of 73, 75 and 76 to conclude the tournament at 6-over par.
The former Caldwell County star made $7,553 in the HSBC Women’s World Championship, which was the final event of the LPGA’s season-opening international swing.
Sung Hyun Park won the tournament at 15-under and pocketed $225,000.
The LPGA Tour returns to the United States later this month for the Bank of Hope Founders Cup in Phoenix, Arizona. That event is set for March 21-24.
