After taking a 9-point lead in the third quarter of Wednesday night’s 2nd Region quarterfinal against Madisonville-North Hopkins, the Hopkinsville girls’ basketball team fell victim to a 25-6 run to close the game in a 46-36 defeat.
Afterward, Coach Anthony Babb talked about how the shorthanded Lady Tigers had to change their game plan, and said defensive mistakes led to the loss.
