
Allison Murphy scored 15 points and Rose Smith added 14 as Lyon County’s girls completed a regular-season sweep of Livingston Central on Tuesday.
The Lady Lyons never trailed while capturing a 46-25 victory in 5th District action in Smithland.
Lyon led 12-4 after one quarter and took a 21-10 lead to halftime.
A stickback by Smith and a 3-pointer by Cathryn Brown to open the second half quickly extended the margin to 26-10.
Livingston (1-18 overall, 0-5 district) got only as close as 12 points after that.
An 8-0 burst late in the third quarter helped Lyon (8-9, 3-2) build a 42-23 advantage going to the final frame.
Livingston was led by Kerah Davidson’s 11 points. Gracie Downey added eight.
Lyon also beat Livingston 54-30 on Dec. 4 in Eddyville.
The Lady Lyons next visit Caldwell County on Thursday.
The Lady Cardinals will host Graves County on Thursday.
