University Heights pitched a first quarter shutout and coasted to a 61-35 victory over Butler County Thursday for their third straight win.
Lily Hendricks and Meghan Adams combined to score UHA’s 15 first quarter points. Hendricks finished with 20 points, and Adams scored 14.
UHA led 28-7 at halftime and 47-12 after three quarters.
Alex Juckett was the third Lady Blazer in double figures with 13 points.
Freshman Jaelyn Taylor led Butler County (2-8) with eight points.
UHA will host Lyon County Friday in what could be an All-A Classic region preview. It will be the final game for the Lady Blazers in the 2018 calendar year.
