Hannah Colbert was the first player John A. Logan offered a scholarship to in the 2019 class and the last player to commit. On Monday, she made that commitment official and signed to continue her athletic and academic career at the Illinois school.
Colbert has been named to the All-Fifth District and All-Second Region Team. She was also named to the Class 2A All-State Second Team by the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
She was 17-14 with a 2.53 ERA and set a school record with 307 strikeouts in 201 innings pitched. As a sophomore, she was 12-12 with a 2.74 ERA and 138 strikeouts. At the plate, Colbert batted .368 with five homers and 20 RBIs.
Colbert said she took her time during the recruiting process in order to pick a school that was a good fit.
John A. Logan College competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
