Trigg County went 2-3 at the Oldham County Super Duals over the weekend in Buckner to kick off their 2018-19 wrestling season.
Trigg County, ranked No. 32 in the Kentuckywresting.com preseason rankings, got wins over No. 35 Anderson County (51-30) and No. 28 North Oldham (39-30). The dropped matches to No. 49 Central Hardin (59-18), No. 54 North Hardin (72-12), and No. 20 Oldham County (69-9).
Colin Stevens wrestled up in class and went 5-0 on the day. Stevens enters the season ranked No. 2 in the 160-pound class.
Ty Saez went 4-1 in the 285-pound class, and Thomas Bruce went 3-2 in the 126-pound class.
Trigg County will wrestle in the McGavock Invitational in Tennessee this weekend.
