Lyon County sent five substitutes into the game at times Friday at Livingston Central in an effort to wear out a thin Lady Cardinals squad.
The Lyon game plan worked, with the deeper Lady Lyons capturing a 54-32 victory over its 5th District foe.
Lyon was also playing its second game in as many nights and will play again Saturday afternoon when it hosts Ohio County.
Doom said the Lady Lyons were able to use their depth to their advantage.
