Todd County Central held off a late Ballard Memorial rally to beat the Bombers 60-57 Friday and move to 2-0 for the second time in three seasons.
Dominque Morrow scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the first half as the Rebels used a 19-5 second quarter run to build a 32-18 lead at halftime.
The Rebels led 45-33 heading into the fourth quarter before the Bombers pulled to within one possession of several occasions. Todd County shot 12-of-17 at the free throw line to hold off the Bombers.
Kimhari Briggs joined Morrow in double figures with 10 points, and Austin Rager and Amari Andrews both scored eight points.
DeQuin Donlow led Ballard Memorial (0-3) with 22 points.
Todd County Central (2-0) will host Whitesville Trinity next Saturday.
