Caldwell County’s Aaron Ziobro brought home a pair of top-two finishes Monday at a four-team swim meet at the Central City Convention Center, hosted by Muhlenberg County.
Ziobro won the 100-yard fly in a time of 1:02.91, bettering second place Lain Romero of Ohio County by nearly six seconds.
He finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.58. He was edged at the end by Muhlenberg County’s Cameron Johnson by a quarter-second.
Ziobro’s day in the pool scored 18 points for Caldwell County.
Ziobro will swim again this weekend in Owensboro.
