Tobias Duncan’s first state cross country meet is one he won’t likely forget. The University Heights Academy seventh grader lost his shoe in the first mile and still finished 17th in the Class 1A race, helping the Blazers to a 12th place team finish.
Duncan says running with one shoe wasn’t too big a deal and told us whether or not he found his shoe.
