Former Caldwell County standout Lele Rodgers wrapped up her college basketball career at Brescia University earlier this year.
In a bit of a rarity, Rodgers finished her career with the Bearcats playing for another Caldwell County grad, head coach Mike Gray.
Rodgers, who is second on the Caldwell County Lady Tigers’ all-time scoring list with 1,682 points, was back on the court on Saturday. Rodgers helped lead Caldwell County to the championship of the 5th District Alumni Tournament in Eddyville.
Afterward, Rodgers spoke to YSE about the alumni game and about her career at Brescia.
