Two University Heights Academy golfers have been named All-Region by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association. Weston Wood and Jiles Wyatt were among the 11 players named to the team.
Wood was the Region Two runner-up after shooting a 3-over 75 at the Owensboro Country Club. He was three shots behind the region winner Daniel Love of Daviess County.
Wood advanced to the state tournament for the second straight year where he made the cut and tied for 50th with a score of +16.
Wyatt finished in third place with a 4-over 76. He advanced to his first state tournament where he shot a +13 on the first day and missed the cut by four shots.
