Centre men’s soccer sophomore Ethan Noel has been named the Southern Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week.
Noel excelled for Centre in their 5-0 win over Birmingham Southern and a 3-0 win at Millsaps. The Hopkinsville High alum was part of a defensive unit that combined to allow 10 shots in the two games combined.
Noel also scored a goal and had an assist in the win over Birmingham-Southern and tallied an assist in the win over Millsaps.
For the season, Noel has one goal and four assists for the Colonels, who are 12-3-1.
