After making the cut on Friday with a +7 79 at the KHSAA Boys Golf State Tournament, UHA senior Weston Wood was back on the course at the Bowling Green County Club early on Saturday, shooting a +9 81, tying him for 52nd place with golfers still on the course.
Wood started slow on Saturday with three bogeys and a double-bogey over the first four holes, but followed with a birdie on number five. He closed the front 9 with his second birdie of the day and made the turn at +5 41.
Wood was more steady over the final 9 holes, with five pars and a birdie on number 12, but was done in by double-bogeys on 13 and 18.
