For the second-straight year University Heights Academy senior Weston Wood made the cut at the KHSAA State Golf Tournament, firing a +7 79 on Friday to set up an early round on Saturday.
After just beating the rain off the course on Friday, Wood talked about his struggles throughout the day and the nerves that come with waiting to see if he made the cut.
