Lyon County senior Kate Gray helped anchor a defense that yielded only a single goal over two games in the Lady Lyons’ run to the 5th-District championship. While they struggled down the stretch in the regular season, the Lady Lyons have now won three of four heading into next week’s 2nd-Region tournament.
After Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Trigg County, Gray said the Lady Lyons’ desire to win has fueled their late-season resurgence.
