Heritage Christian Goes 1-2 in Weekend KCAA Play

Heritage Christian Academy went 1-2 in volleyball matches over the weekend and saw their KCAA record even out at 6-6 on the season.

HCA, ranked No. 5 in this week’s KCAA Power Poll, lost in straight sets to No. 2 Trinity Christian 26-24, 25-12 Friday. The three-time defending KCAA state champs improved to 7-1 in KCAA play with the win.

On Saturday, the Lady Warriors lost to No. 4 Community Christian in three sets 25-15, 19-25, 13-25. Community improved to 6-2 in league play with the win.

Heritage bounced back with a straight set win over Lakeside Christian 25-8, 25-19. The loss dropped Lakeside to 4-7 in league play.

Heritage Christian (13-13) has a busy week coming up. They host Kenwood Monday ahead of three consecutive road games at Jo Byrns, Tenn. on Tuesday, Pleasant View Christian, Tenn. on Thursday, and at Hendersonville Christian, Tenn. on Friday.

Their next KCAA game is Saturday when they host No. 10 Highlands Latin.
