Could there soon be a new school participating in KHSAA sanctioned athletics in the area? During last week’s meeting of the KHSAA Board of Control, the Board gave approval to a new membership application to a school in Hopkins County.
During that meeting, board members gave conditional approval to the membership application from Cornerstone Preparatory School in Madisonvlille. The approval was given on a probationary period, provided there is a “satisfactory review of all membership criteria”
Cornerstone Prep was opened in cooperation with Heritage Christian Academy for the 2017-2018 school year.
In the news release from the Board of Control meeting, the KHSAA did not specify the length of the probationary period.
Heritage Christian Academy, is not a member of the KHSAA, but participates in the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association.
