It was a tough night Tuesday for the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors. Sporting new uniforms, the Lady Warriors ran into a Jo Byrns team with size that posed problems for HCA, as Jo Byrns claimed the match sweep 3-0.
Jo Byrns opened the match quickly, jumping out to an 8-2 lead early in the opening set. The Lady Warriors spent the rest of the set trying to battle their way back. They would get as close as three points on a pair of occasions, but could get no closer as Jo Byrns took the set 25-21.
The second set of the match saw Jo Byrns play their best volleyball of the evening. With Jo Byrns leading 10-7, they ripped off the next seven points to take a 17-7 lead and effectively close out the set. Jo Byrns went on to take the set 25-15.
The third set saw the Lady Warrior try to make a bid to get back in the match.
