The Trigg County Lady Wildcats very nearly came up with their first win of the volleyball season Monday night. The Lady Wildcats went on the road and lost a hard fought, four set match to the Union County Bravettes 3-1.
The first set of the night gave indication of just how the match was going to go. Union County took the opening set 25-21. The Bravettes also took the second set, working extra time to get the win 26-24, and go up in the match 2-0.
Trigg County battled back to get into the match during the third set. The Lady Wildcats would end up taking the set by a score of 25-22 to close the match to 2-1.
The Bravettes closed out the match with another tight set in the fourth. Union County took the set 25-21 to close out the match 3-1.
With the loss, Trigg County falls to 0-11 on the season. Union County improves to 2-5. The Bravettes have now won two matches in a row.
