In wake of their win in the 2nd Region All A volleyball championship game, the Caldwell County Lady Tigers are the new #1 team in the 2nd Region in the weekly rankings released by the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association. The Lady Tigers defeated previous #1 UHA in two hard fought sets Wednesday night at Fort Campbell.
With the loss to Caldwell County, University Heights dropped to the #2 spot in the region. UHA’s two losses on the season are to the Lady Tigers and Breckinridge County, which is ranked #1 in the 3rd Region this week.
Henderson County, which has a loss to UHA in the Apollo Summer Slam, is ranked 3rd.
Madisonville is in the #4 spot, with Crittenden County rounding out the top five.
McCracken County is ranked #1 in the 1st Region, while Greenwood is in the top spot in the 4th Region.
