After an 0-3 start to the volleyball season, Christian County has won four of their last five matches with the latest victory coming Tuesday at Hopkins County Central. The Lady Colonels won in three sets 25-20, 25-22, 28-26.
Christian County improved to 19-1 all-time against Hopkins County Central and have won 15 straight matches against the Lady Storm.
Macy Baker led the way for the Lady Colonels with 16 kills and two aces, while Lanie Bivins chipped in with nine aces, seven kills, and one block.
Senior Jaquavia Bailey had a sold match for the Lady Colonels with six kills and two aces, and Lindsie Oden added four aces and three kills.
Christian County (4-4) will host University Heights Academy Thursday in the 8th District opener for both teams.
