The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons entered Tuesday evening looking to pick up their second win in a row on the volleyball court for only the third time in the last three seasons. Fort Campbell was coming off a Monday night win over 2nd Region opponent Livingston Central, and looking to build some momentum headed into a district showdown later in the week against Christian County.
The Webster County Lady Trojans, however, had other plans in mind. The Lady Trojans got out to a good start and picked up the pace from there, on their way to a straight set win in Dixon.
Webster County took the opening set 25-15. The Lady Trojans then steamrolled the Lady Falcons over the final two sets, winning 25-7 and 25-9.
The Lady Falcons will try to get back on the winning track Thursday, when they host Christian County in an 8th District matchup on post.
