The Todd County Central girls’ soccer team got 4 goals from Madison Henderson and earned its fourth-straight win with a 10-0 pasting of visiting Butler County. The Lady Rebels improve to 4-2 overall with a visit from 13th-District rival Logan County scheduled for Tuesday.
Henderson got things started with a goal in the 8th minute, followed four minutes later with a goal from Alexis Andrews off a pass from Elizabeth Colmenares. Henderson added three more over a five-minute span midway through the first half, before Andrews, Gracie Silvia and Jenny Flores scored in quick succession for an 8-0 halftime lead.
Itzel Salazar closed the show with 2 second-half strikes for a 10-0 final with just over fifteen minutes left on the clock.
The victory comes on the heels of two wins over the weekend, with the Lady Rebels blanking Clinton County 5-0 and topping Franklin-Simpson 4-3. Henderson led the way with 4 goals over the two games, followed by Andrews with 3 and Flores and Colmenares with a goal each.
