The Fort Campbell Falcons made the trip to Franklin Saturday to take part in the Franklin-Simpson Wildcat Cup. The Falcons came away with a split of their matches, picking up a big win over the host school, while falling to John Hardin.
In the match against Franklin-Simpson, the Falcons cruised to a 7-1 victory. A big match for senior Jhony Paniagua, who scored four goals against the Wildcats. He also added one assist. Paniagua has now scored seven goals on the season.
Fellow senior Rafael Cerritos, freshman Antonio Cervantes, and junior Jorge Ballestero added a goal apiece. Ballestero added two assists.
Marcus Hay had a big match in goal, coming up with ten saves against the Franklin-Simpson attack.
In the match against John Hardin, the Bulldogs were able to keep the Falcons out of the net, and hold on for a 3-0 win.
The Falcons are now 2-4 on the season.
