Caldwell County gave a strong effort but came up just short against a more-experienced Grayson County squad on Tuesday, dropping a 4-3 decision in Princeton.
The Tigers (0-2) next play a makeup date against Murray High School this Saturday. The teams will play a varsity match at 6 p.m. at Butler Stadium. That contest was originally set for this past Saturday.
