With Joby Jaggers now at Murray State University, Caldwell County junior Russ Beshear has taken over the quarterbacking duties for the Tigers.
Beshear, who has played linebacker in the past, is now looking at a role where he is not only the starting QB but has also moved to safety on the defensive side of the football.
Beshear said following Friday’s scrimmage at Hopkins County Central that he is becoming more comfortable in the quarterback’s spot after Jaggers manned that post the last two seasons.
