Caldwell County boys’ soccer coach Tanner Reed was encouraged by his team’s scrimmage against Mayfield on Thursday, despite a 6-4 setback in the preseason contest at Butler Stadium in Princeton.
Reed is in his first season as Tiger head coach.
Caldwell County will open the regular season on Monday, Aug. 12, as part of a girls and boys doubleheader at Webster County.
