The Hopkinsville girls’ soccer team eased to a 4-0 halftime lead and kept its foot on the gas on the way to a 9-0 victory over Mayfield on Friday afternoon. The teams met as part of the Paducah Tilghman Jamboree at the Blue Tornado’s John W. Keiler Field.
A couple of freshmen led the goal parade for the Lady Tigers, with Laney Wilson recording a hat trick and Morgan Woosley scoring twice. Peyton Lewis, Haley Cowherd, Grasen Givens and Sarah Johnston each added a goal.
