Caldwell County sophomore Blake Vivrette recorded a hat trick, but Mayfield prevailed 6-4 in Thursday’s soccer scrimmage at Butler Stadium in Princeton.
The Tigers also got a goal from Grayden Miller off an assist from Nick Adams.
Caldwell’s boys do not have a second scrimmage scheduled.
The Tigers are scheduled to open the regular season on Monday, Aug. 12, as part of a girls and boys varsity doubleheader at Webster County.
