After taking over the Caldwell County girls’ soccer program on short notice last summer, Coach Rhett Miller says he’s happy with what he’s seen from his team this preseason, with an increase in players and everyone present and accounted for at practice.
The Lady Tigers were in Lexington over the weekend to take part in the Bluegrass Games, finishing 1-2 with a 2-1 opening-game victory over John Hardin High School. Miller took time in between games to talk about the strong play of his bench and said the focus will continue to be on offensive transition as they prepare for the season-opener at Webster County on August 12.
