Lyon County Post 68 is headed to the American Legion Regional Baseball Tournament in Charleston, Ill., after winning the Kentucky State Championship for the second straight year.
The Post 68 Aces wrapped up back-to-back titles on Saturday, routing Owensboro 13-3 in six innings in the championship game at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.
Afterward, YSE caught up with Post 68 coaches Stan Head and Greg Vincent, who discussed the team’s path to another state title and the upcoming regional at Eastern Illinios University Aug. 7-11.
