The GO Junior Golf Series concluded its 2019 summer season Monday with the northern series championship at the Owensboro Country Club.
University Heights Academy junior Jiles Wyatt fired off a 77 to finish tied for second in the 16-18 division. He was three shots behind the winner, Chris Salamah of Owensboro.
For the season, Wyatt was the winner of the Second Flight. Christian County’s Chase Dawson finished 12th with a 107.
Hopkinsville sophomore Evan Pyle shot a 90 to finish his round in the 13-15 division in fifth place. He finished the season as First Flight Runner-up. Owensboro’s J.T. Payne won the day with a round of 83.
The GO Junior Series is based in Owensboro and has a northern and southern series that takes place each summer.
