Hopkinsville seventh grader Cate Blane won the girls’ 12-under division of the Kentucky Junior Amateur Wednesday in Bardstown.
Blane shot a 4-over 40 in the rain-shortened event in Bardstown. Her round included two birdies and six bogeys. She finished tied with Keira Yun of Elizabethtown, but a birdie by Blane on the 9th hole was good enough to give her the win in a scorecard playoff.
