Another solid night Monday for former Hopkinsville Tiger Easton McGee. McGee gave up just one run over seven innings of work as the Bowling Green Hot Rods picked up the 4-1 road win over the Lansing Lugnuts.
McGee, who is now 6-2 on the season, allowed just six hits, and one walk, while picking up six strikeouts over his seven innings on the mound. McGee also picked off his first runner of the season. With the effort, McGee’s ERA drops to 3.63 for the season.
The Hot Rods improve to 9-2 in the second half with the their 7th straight win and 48-33 overall ahead of a four-game, home-at-home series with the Dayton Dragons beginning on Tuesday.
