Hopkinsville’s Austin Knight logged a Top 2o finish in the 2019 Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Amateur. The event wrapped up play Thursday with the conclusion of the rain delayed 2nd round and then the full 3rd round of play.
Knight ended up +6 for the event, shooting 71-77-74 over the three rounds of the tournament. The scored placed him in a four way tie for 20th.
Hopkinsville’s Tadd Swtizer was not far behind. Switzer finished at 8 over par 224 (73-77-74), which placed him in a five way tie for 25th place.
After a tough first round, Lyon County’s Cullan Brown came back with a pair of better rounds to close out the event. Brown (78-73-74) finished with a nine over par 225, which placed him in a tie for 31st place.
The tournament was played at the Country Club of Paducah.
