Todd County Central has turned to one of its own to lead the girls’ basketball program at the school. Officials announced Wednesday morning that Jarrod Scott Fleming had been named as the new head coach for the Lady Rebels.
Fleming has served as an assistant coach for the team under former head coaches Jeff Stamps and Jimmy Chapman. Fleming is beginning his 20th year at Todd County Central as a history and business teacher.
In a statement, Fleming noted that “now that my children are grown it allows me to devote my full time to the Lady Rebel basketball program and am very thankful for the opportunity to make the program better.”
Fleming added “rebuilding a program will needless-to-say take time, patience and understanding. However, with hard work, dedication, and clear goals I feel we can make strides in the right direction.”
