
Emma Talley has made the cut and will play in the final round of the Shoprite LPGA Classic presented by Acer.
Talley is at 1-under-par through 36 holes in Galloway, N.J. Seventy-four players at even or better advanced to Sunday’s final round in the 54-hole tournament.
Talley, who is tied for 48th place, will tee off in the final round at 8:39 a.m. Eastern time Sunday morning.
The former three-time state champion at Caldwell County and NCAA individual medalist at the University of Alabama got to 3-under early in Saturday’s second round with an eagle on the par-5 3rd hole.
Talley also had three birdies but recorded five bogeys while shooting an even-par 71 in the second round.
In Friday’s opening round, Talley carded five birdies and four bogeys while finishing at 1-under 70.
Jeongeun Lee6 leads the field at the Shoprite LPGA Classic at 10-under-par thanks to a birdie-eagle finish on Saturday. Mariah Stackhouse is one shot back while three other players are at 8-under.
