On Thursday at a ceremony at the school, UHA senior Aisha Pantiere joined her brother, Isiah, in making her college choice official, signing scholarship papers to continue her volleyball career at Midway University in Midway, KY.
Pantiere becomes only the second Lady Blazer volleyball player to move on to play at the next level after helping them to a 15-5 record and an 8th-District title and 2nd-Region runner-up finish in 2018.
The volleyball team was one of three Pantiere led to the All-A state tournament during her senior year, also making trips with the girls’ basketball and track & field squads.
After making things official with the Eagles, she talked about what led her to choose Midway among a number of college options.
