Two top-four finishes for the boys’ relay teams highlighted the Lyon County track & field night at the Marshall County Double Quad on Tuesday. The girls didn’t have enough participants to qualify for the team rankings, with the boys finishing eleventh overall.
The boys’ 4×100 team finished 4th with a time of 50.55, while moving up a spot to 3rd in the 4×200. Individually, Michael Cox came in 18th in the 100M with a 13.03 and Cole Schroeder finished 16th in the long jump with a distance of 16-02.00.
For the girls, Samantha Hooper ran 16th in the 100M with a 15.87 and finished 25th in the 200M at 33.92. Leanna Odom recorded a 13-10.00 in the shot put, good enough for 26th, while Abigail Crawford was 17th in the discus at 57-08.
