
Easton McGee continued his strong start to the baseball season Monday, striking out a season-high seven batters in Bowling Green’s 3-2 loss to Burlington in 10 innings.
McGee started and went a career-high eight innings but picked up the no-decision. He allowed a run in four hit and struck out a season-high eight batters. He lowered his ERA for the season to 2.15 and has struck out 25 batters in 29 innings.
The Hot Rods, the Class A affiliate of Tampa Bay, is 17-14 and a game out of first place in the Midwest League Eastern Division.
