Two Lyon County baseball players were named to the All-A Classic State Tournament Team Sunday in Owensboro.
Jackson Shoulders pitched a complete game in Lyon’s 5-2 opening round win over Campbellsville. She allowed five hits and struck out three. He also had three hits in Lyon’s two games.
Gabe Board had a hit and scored a run, in addition to playing flawless defense at shortstop for the Lyons.
Lyon County was making their first appearance in the All-A Classic State Tournament, advancing to the semifinals where they lost to eventual champion Beechwood.
